Lydia Johnson

Lydia Johnson is a retired practical/pastoral theologian who previously taught at Pacific Theological College (Fiji), University of Durban-Westville (South Africa), and Otago University (New Zealand). Her areas of academic specialization include Cross-cultural Theology (particularly cross-cultural understandings of conflict and reconciliation), and the Theology and Practice of Ministry. She has also been involved in the development of non-traditional models of theological education, and she continues her work as an editor of theological publications. Her most recent book is Lived Theology for the Whole of Life (Wipf & Stock, 2024). An American by birth, she now lives in Hamilton, New Zealand.
