Jione Havea

Jione Havea is a native pastor (Methodist Church in Tonga) and co-parent for a polycultural daughter. Jione advocates for climate justice, through interweaving Pasifika interests with scriptures (foreign and local) and native wisdoms (ancestral and current), around community rituals (see e.g, acClimatise the Lectionary project). Current editorial involvements include Black Theology: An International Journal (Taylor & Francis), Bible and Critical Theory (online journal), Samoa Journal of Theology (online), Decolonizing Theologies (book series, Lexington), and Theology and Intersectionality (book series, Pickwick).
